NSEERS: Designated Countries Removed
On April 28, 2011, DHS announced removal of the following countries from the Special Registration procedures under the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System, known as NSEERS: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Egypt, Eritrea, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. This relieves nonimmigrant nationals or citizens of these countries from compliance with Special Registration requirements. (more…)
